SQLShift V5.0 Released: Enhanced Model Delivers Major Accuracy Gains for Complex SQL Conversion
This release is the most important architectural upgrade since SQLShift launched. We introduced the Enhanced Model (Beta), together with better conversion accuracy, more stable context handling, and a brand-new Intelligent Repair Center to provide a more reliable migration experience.
1. Core Updates
1) Enhanced Model (Beta) Is Live
Compared with the existing Standard Model, the Enhanced Model (Beta) provides higher conversion accuracy and more stable context handling.
In this update, we renamed the historical conversion mechanism as the Standard Model, making it easier for users to choose the right conversion mode when creating tasks.

- Higher accuracy for complex SQL conversion: more stable performance in multi-table joins and deeply nested logic scenarios.
- Improved context consistency: addresses user-reported issues such as variable misplacement and business logic loss.
- New migration combination support: added SQL Server -> OceanBase 4.3.5 migration support to improve compatibility with newer OceanBase versions.
Future migration combinations will be introduced in the Enhanced Model first.
2) Intelligent Repair Center
Launched together with the Enhanced Model (Beta), the Intelligent Repair Center further improves usability and consistency of converted SQL, including:

- Multi-round conversational refinement of target-side SQL, to match enterprise coding standards and semantic expectations;
- Secondary handling of explicit or hard incompatibilities (such as
Dblinkand table-valued functions), reducing manual repair workload; - Performance optimization support for converted stored procedures, improving go-live stability.
The Intelligent Repair Center is especially suitable for:
- Cases where conversion output does not fully meet internal SQL standards and requires additional adjustments;
- Cases involving weakly compatible syntax (such as
Dblink) that requires supplementation or rewriting; - Cases where converted stored procedures have unsatisfactory performance and need optimization suggestions or automatic rewriting.
