SQLShift Official Launch: Oracle -> OceanBase Migration Accelerator
SQLShift, an enterprise-grade intelligent SQL dialect conversion platform, is now officially launched. As one of the first SaaS services in China to support automatic Oracle -> OceanBase stored procedure conversion, SQLShift deeply integrates AI and SQL expert models to address key migration pain points such as implicit conversions and logic drift, helping enterprises deliver with near-zero errors.
1. Solving Urgent Localization Migration Needs
Traditional tools usually support only basic table-structure migration, while Oracle stored procedures and materialized views still require manual line-by-line adaptation. This is time-consuming and high-risk in production. SQLShift focuses on localization replacement scenarios and delivers three major breakthroughs:
1) OceanBase-first migration support
- V1.0 uniquely supports automatic conversion from Oracle stored procedures to OceanBase 4.x.
- Covers high-frequency scenarios such as
DBMS_JOBscheduling andROWNUMpagination.
2) Triple-validation framework
Based on OceanBase official documentation and SQL expert models for localization migration, SQLShift performs three-layer validation across syntax, semantics, and performance, reducing risks such as implicit type conversion issues (for example NUMBER -> DECIMAL) and failed pagination rewrites (for example ROWNUM -> LIMIT/OFFSET).
3) Efficiency redefined
Tasks that traditionally required 10 days of manual migration can be compressed to around 4 hours, significantly reducing labor costs and improving migration efficiency.
2. Core Capabilities
- Accurate AI parsing: dynamically learns dialect differences between Oracle and target databases, and automatically converts complex constructs such as cursor loops and exception handling.
- White-box traceability: breaks down logic paths and conversion principles of stored procedures to reduce user understanding cost.
- Risk prediction: generates real-time fix suggestions and impact assessment for explicit and hidden incompatibilities, including system views, reserved keywords, and
LOG ERRORS INTO.
3. Roadmap
In the short term, SQLShift will continue phased releases for stored procedure migration from commercial databases to domestic/open-source databases. Feature details and schedules will be adjusted dynamically based on enterprise demand. Please refer to official website announcements. For private deployment or deep customization, contact us.
